The FireWise Program is a program
designed to help educate members of the community of what to do to
prepare themselves and property for a fire and what to do when you are
threatened with a fire.
It also is designed to help
members of the community to be informed of various Fire Danger Periods
and what should and shouldn't be done within those periods.
The NSW RFS has many fact sheets, checklists etc available. They can be found on the NSW RFS website.
Despite
the recent rain in some areas, there's still a risk of fires - so find
