Kurrajong Brigade is delighted to have the support of Pat Drummond who has kindly offered his talent to help us fund raise for training facilities and operational equipment.

His shows around Australia are always a sell out. Pat will be doing his 2 hour show with a swag of storytelling songs, followed by a Bush Dance that will be called by Pat too.

Bring your own grog & nibblies, grab your favourite cowboy gear and the family then come along for a fun night out.

There will be a raffle on the night and Pat will be selling his latest CD.

For every CD sold Pat will donate $10 to our Brigade.

Tickets only $15 each

Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival 2011

22nd & 23rd October

Brigade members worked very hard last weekend to organise another BBQ for visitors and locals attending The Scarecrow Festival. This is a fantastic fund raising opportunity for us and once again it was a great success.

The weather was close to perfect, last years event had been rained off which was a huge disappointment to many.

There was smoke in the air as several Hazard Reductions were taking place around the area.  Some Brigade members had worked long hours on the Friday, Saturday & Sunday assisting with the hazard reductions but many still fronted up to the fire shed on Sunday to help out with the all important sausage sizzle. Thanks Guys and thank you to the many visitors and locals for their ongoing support of our Brigade. A special thank you to our young junior members, who worked especially hard in helping make this event a success.
